here have been many wars that the nation of Colombia has fought over the years, perhaps most famously the one against drug lords who once ruled entire segments of the country, but it is the one against FARC, that has been the longest lasting and most troublesome.

the problem that colombia have with the farc affects all the citizens because there are cities that are the most affected because of the attacs the bombs the shootings that kill inocent people such as children and old people affecting not only their near family but also the family that live in other cities. the Colombian goverment has to do something quickly to stop this way of life, colombians deserve a better way to live.

while cycling faces an unphill battle to restore its credibility , that fight has already lost for armostrong , with the crumbling of the reputation of a man who created cycling history and inspired million with his recovery from cancer now complete .

if coming clean was never an option for Armstrong before , because there was simply too much to lose , perhaps it is now . Because it all seems to be either gone or going . all the titles , all those endorsement contracts , and his name .After analyzing the situation of Lance Armstrong, I totally agree with the decision made by the UCI .

thirteenth week - script

Im going to talk about Bermuda triangle

The bermuda triangle is a strange and mysterious region in the south west atlantic where people , ships , boats and air craft flying over it have presumably been sucket in to its stormy waters and or disappeared .

weird disappearances and sightings in the bermuda triangle date back to 1942 , hen the first voyage to america took place .

In addition this mystery , in fact , has eliminated hundreds of vassels from commercial airplanes carrying hundreds of innocent people to navy submarines going on a test drive .

In my opinion of the bermuda triangle is that a series of unfortunate events led up to the cration of this mysterious spot , yes , there may be ships and plane that have not been found today but we can not be certain thatthey are swept away .

 I  think that the solution could be increase the number of policemen to organize and move the cars , but I think that people have to colaborate too , also i think that the soution proposed could be organizing awareness programs to raise traffic awareness among all drivers , specially for people who did this kind of disorder in the city . 

Main problem:  Teenagers with eating disorders. 

General description of the solution:
Thousand of young people who are unhappy with their physical appearance and are willing to damage their own body with diseases such as anorexia and bulimia. The solution that I propose is the not paying attention to the media with activities in schools and universities that shorten the time that young people spend watching television.Sufferers of eating disorders have admitted that images of skinny models enflamed their condition ,when they were watching tv or radio .

Arguments to choose that solution: 

The media have always proposed a prototype perfect person that what he has done is that the world is willing to pay for plastic surgery and excessive exercise routines following the sole purpose to look like their favorite television stars. and also I  think The media needs to find an honest and real concept of beauty that is based on diversity of shape. People come in all shapes and sizes, an obvious and redundant statement that we’ve all heard hundreds of times. The fashion industry is the reason bodies resembling skeletons are idolized.

Rio Carnival

Name of festival: The Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, it is considered the biggest carnival in the world. Rio Carnival takes place in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil every year.

When is it held: Some years this carnival is celebrated in February or March. 

Activities: Dance, Processions, Music, Streets festivals.

I choose this festival because it is a great celebration, you can participate in several activities, this festival is a big opportunity to the Brazilian people to know the whole world in one place. The tourists can see the culture of Brazilian people and learn of them. Also, you will dance and sing until the next day.

OBESITY IN AMERICA

As we know Obesity is an epidemic in the United States and in other developed countries , and when I watched the video I realized that obesity is a huge problem because if we take in more calories than we burn , the extra food turns to fat and is stored in our bodies , if we overeat regularly  , we gain weight , and if we continue to gain weight we may become obese . and the mind has the power to decide if you should eat more , and this is very dangerous because you never know when you will have a anxiety for food .I think  that a way to solve it is making campaigns where people could see messages and images of how are they killing them selves with the mass eating.

Personally , i find crocodiles a lot scarier , because their lower and upper fangs are always exposed , even with their mouths closed .

I think I would probably scream and then run away as fast as humanly possible, if I  were attaked by crocodile , I would run and look for a safe place .

Mass transportation system (Pollution)

We know how mass transportation has been a big cause of polution, it is a worlwide problem that is caused because of many industries, but we can change it in the matter of mass transportation.One of the strongest solution is the use of bicycles instead of cab for going to close places, it helps to decrease the pollution and it also healthy.

Also, car pollution reaches from water pollution  to noise pollution , air pollution  to global warming , to impacting uman health , on- road  motor vehicle not only  realease carbon dioxide but also oxides of nitrogen , and one of the strongest solutions is to use  environmental cars . 

And remember :
If you want to help reduce global warming , let alone air pollution, one of the best things you can do is to get out of your car.Walk or ride a bicycle for short trips, or take public transportation for longer ones. Either way, you will significantly reduce the amount of pollution .

Rio de Janeiro / favelas / essay

Brazil is known because of it amazing festivals an another spectacular things, but also it is known because of it delinquency in favelas, it is a problem which have been grown by the years, and Brazil is in the ranking of one of the most higher rate of delinquency in Latin America, In recent years favelas have been troubled by drug-related crime and gang warfare. The majority of favelas are self-policing. Ruled by drug lords, crimes of property within the favelas are dealt with swiftly by the cartel kings. But drugs create problems outside the favelas. The ruling classes of Rio see drug use as a cause of crime in their parts of the city.

Firstly, the main solution for the insecurity in the favelas could be, make a pattern in the media coverage of government operations to take control of Rio’s larger drug gang run-favelas, besides Local coverage focuses squarely on the authorities, accompanying the police operation, the size of the operation, quantities of drugs and arms recovered and the announcement of infrastructure developments to follow.

Secondly, which I think could decrease the delinquency in Brazil, is to increase the levels of security, how? Increasing the number of police men on the streets and creating new stronger rules and laws to correct this acts of delinquency. In this way this could prevent and decrease the rates of delinquency.

In addition  , other solution could be create a government - run  schools an educational opportunities , and also children and young people must be protected from unfair , specially the awful conditions in education and rehab facilities for juvenile offenders must be improved , and governmental and non- governmental initiatives to improve the image of the favelas and their living conditions matter very much .

In conclusion , this problem is affecting Brazil , a good solution will be to have a governmental and non-governmental initiatives to improve the image of the favelas and their living conditions , Relevant steps include the provision of free internet access, investments in accommodation and waste disposal as well as pacification programmes .
